Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of MEP Engg Suite. By using the website, the free calculators or a registered account, you agree to them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the platform.

The service
MEP Engg Suite provides engineering calculation tools and technical content for HVAC, fire protection, public health and electrical building services design. A selection of calculators is free and requires no registration. The full suite, saved projects and PDF calculation reports require a free account.
Accounts
You must give accurate registration details, including a working email address, and verify that address before signing in. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity carried out under your account. Accounts are for individual use; do not share credentials. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, is used to attack or overload the platform, or is used to misrepresent the source of a calculation.
Professional responsibility
The calculators produce preliminary and system-level engineering guidance. They do not replace a qualified engineer, a design review, or the judgement of the Engineer of Record. You remain solely responsible for verifying every result against the applicable code edition, the authority having jurisdiction, manufacturer data and project-specific requirements before it is used in design, procurement, construction or operation.
Standards are revised over time. Where a calculator names a standard, you must confirm which edition your project and authority having jurisdiction have adopted, including any local amendments. Where an exact requirement matters, consult the standard itself.
Engineering disclaimer
The calculators support early-stage sizing, system decisions and independent cross-checks; they do not replace detailed design or a licensed engineer's review. Default climate data, demand factors and material properties are starting points, not project-specific values. Review the stated assumptions and replace those that do not match your project.
Engineering checks flag unusual inputs or outputs, but passing a check does not establish code compliance. Engineering Intelligence and Knowledge Base content is general commentary, not project-specific advice. Report a suspected calculation or standards error through the Contact page with the inputs used; confirmed technical errors are prioritized.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to break, probe or circumvent the platform's security or access controls; do not access another user's data; do not scrape, bulk-download or systematically copy the calculators or content; do not resell or redistribute the service as your own; do not use automated tools to generate excessive load; and do not upload or submit unlawful content. Reverse engineering the platform in order to reproduce it commercially is not permitted.
Intellectual property
The platform's software, interface, written content, article library and compiled data sets belong to MEP Engg Suite and are protected by copyright. The underlying engineering equations and the standards referenced are the property of their respective publishing bodies and are cited, not reproduced. You keep ownership of the project data and inputs you enter, and you may use the calculation outputs and generated PDF reports freely in your own professional work.
Availability and changes
The service is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis and may be interrupted for maintenance, upgrades or reasons outside our control. Calculators, limits and features may be added, changed or withdrawn. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that stored data will never be lost, and you should keep your own copies of anything critical.
Warranties and liability
The platform is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. While the calculators are implemented carefully from published methods and are tested, we do not warrant that every result is free of error or suitable for your particular project.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MEP Engg Suite is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, nor for loss of profit, contracts, data, goodwill or anticipated savings, arising from use of or reliance on the platform or its output. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Termination
You may stop using the platform at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or terminate access where these terms are breached. The intellectual property, liability and responsibility provisions survive termination.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated. The current version is always published on this page with its revision date, and continued use after a change indicates acceptance.
