Library Access Policy
These terms explain how you may read Books bought individually or through an All-Access Pass in the MEP Engg Suite Library.
Last updated October 2026
1. A licence, not a copy
All Books are the copyright of MEP Engg Suite ("the owner") under the Copyright Act, 1957. Buying a Book or Pass gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to read it in the in-app reader while signed in to your own account. Nothing else is sold or transferred.
2. Reading only in the app
Books cannot be downloaded, printed or read offline, in any format. Each page is shown one at a time and marked with your email, order reference and date. Anyone may preview the first 3 pages free.
3. You must not
- share your account or let anyone else read through it;
- download, save, print, screenshot, photograph, record or scrape pages;
- copy, share, publish, sell or upload any part of a Book anywhere, including messaging groups and AI tools;
- remove or hide the watermark;
- use bots or scripts or try to get around the reader's limits or protections.
Short quotations with credit, for review or teaching, are allowed as permitted by law.
4. Reading limits
Each account may open up to 60 pages a minute and 600 pages a day, far above normal reading.
5. Records
Each page opened is logged (account, Book, page, time) to provide the service, enforce this policy and answer disputes, as described in the Privacy Policy. Leaked pages can be traced to an account through the watermark.
6. Breach
If this policy is breached, access to the Books or the account may be blocked without refund, and shared copies taken down.
7. How long access lasts
Books: for as long as the Library is offered and your account is in good standing; if a Book is withdrawn from sale, buyers keep it. Passes: for the stated days. If the Library is closed, notice will be given at least 60 days in advance by email. Access ends early only after a full refund, a lost chargeback, or a breach.
8. The service
The reader needs an internet connection and a current browser. Books may be corrected or updated. The site is run by an individual and is provided "as is", without guarantees of uninterrupted availability; outages are not grounds for a refund unless Refund Policy section 3 applies.
9. Engineering disclaimer
Books are general technical guidance, not professional advice for any project. Always apply your own judgement and the applicable codes and standards. MEP Engg Suite or its owner shall not be responsible for designs, decisions or losses resulting from their use.
The Library may contain AI-assisted technical content, including engineering formulas, equations, calculation methods, worked examples, technical recommendations, and references to standards. Such content may contain errors, omissions, outdated information, or formulas and calculations that have not been independently validated in every instance. Although reasonable efforts may be made to review and improve technical accuracy, MEP Engg Suite does not guarantee that all content, formulas, calculations, or technical recommendations are complete, accurate, current, or suitable for every application. The content is provided for educational, informational, and engineering reference purposes only.
MEP Engg Suite does not intend to knowingly reproduce or misuse third-party copyrighted material without appropriate authorisation. However, AI-assisted content may inadvertently contain material that resembles or includes third-party copyrighted works. If you believe that any content published on this website infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, please contact mepenggsuite@gmail.com, identifying the relevant content and providing sufficient information to verify your claim. We will review genuine complaints and, where appropriate, remove, revise, or restrict access to the disputed material and take other reasonable corrective action.
10. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, the total liability to you for any claim about a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it, and MEP Engg Suite or its owner shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses. You agree to compensate MEP Engg Suite or its owner for losses caused by your breach of section 3.
11. Law and disputes
Please contact MEP Engg Suite or its owner first; we aim to resolve complaints within 30 days.
12. Contact and grievances
MEP Engg Suite, mepenggsuite@gmail.com. Complaints are acknowledged within 48 hours and resolved within one month.
13. Changes
This policy may be updated. The version shown at checkout applies to that purchase, except changes required by law.
